Wild Veil Vermont Red Spruce Absolute ☆ Organic, handmade, and sustainably collected from wild stands of Picea rubens that grow in my old growth hemiboreal woods. Within the contiguous United States, Vermont and Maine are the the two states where red spruce populations are widespread and abundant.

Strawberry compote, plums, and sweet black raspberries. I tinctured broken red spruce foliage from the old growth forest at my home, where it is plentiful and grows alongside purple and magenta wild black raspberry vines. This has lighter berry notes than the black spruce, and less balsam. Along with Norway, red spruce boughs make the sweetest extract in the Picea family. If you did not know this absolute is coniferous in origin, you might think it is a fruit absolute. Like my other handmade conifer extracts, its profile is vibrant and intoxicating, like sticky life. Organic.
      The Wild Vermont Red Spruce Absolute is a Wild Veil natural perfume ingredient made using the old methods of long term tincturing in plantbased, high proof alcohol (food grade ethanol), followed by gentle evaporation to preserve the top notes.

Available in 1ml, 2ml, and 5ml sizes. Absolute is pine green in color with iridescent yellow highlights and black lowlights. It is thick at room temperature. Refrigerate to preserve freshness. Gently warm to improve mobility.

Note: sweet strawberry and raspberry base note with good fixative properties.
